SueChefs and Teen Services Librarian Miss Gina are teaming up to bring you Teen SueChefs!

This is a new cooking club meeting here at the library.  We have a different recipe theme each month, chosen by club members!

SueChefs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to good food choices & fun in the kitchen! Founded by Sue James and her sidekick Eve Dickey, the SueChefs motto is Cook, Eat, Clean, Repeat!

SueChefs Mission Statement:

SuesChefs.org is committed to supporting children of all ages who have an interest in learning about the importance of food in our lives as well as having fun in the kitchen! We teach the nutritional value of healthy foods as well as the challenges we face with preservatives, dyes, additives, and the extreme amounts of salt and sugar in our diets today. SueChefs.org helps children to learn the preparation of healthy foods, safety, and appropriate sanitary conditions needed in the kitchen. At SueChefs.Org, we never ask a child to pay when attending our classes. An understanding of food, its preparation, and its importance in our lives should be available to everyone. We also strive to teach children to serve others, serving our community, and the importance of exploring food from other cultures.
