Kids Makerspace Programs
Get your young ones started on learning about science by designing, building, and creating! In our makerspace kids will learn how to use basic tools properly. They get to stretch their creative brains with weekly projects. From building flutes to marshmallow cannons and marble race tracks they will learn about science concepts such as sound, pressure, gravity, and more!
Teens Makerspace Programs
Our Makerspace is a great place for teenagers to go further than their formal education in science! Our available tools include things such as a 3D Printers, Laser cutter and engraver, and Electronics workstations. We learn how to do everything from printing t-shirts to building robots.
Adults Makerspace Programs
It’s never too late to learn new things! Our Makerspace contains all kinds of tools for creating new and interesting crafts. Not only is it fun but can also be practical! Instead of buying something, you may be able to make it at a fraction of the cost. From t-shirts to birthday cards, from ornaments to coasters, from robots to cookie cutters, you’ll find something here that can be helpful. You’ll get a chance to use some of the latest tools without the thousands of dollars in up-front cost.
3D Printers
We have two 3D Printers that will allow your imagination to soar in 3 dimensions! Our staff can help you find 3d files online that can be printed in the Makerspace or bring your own ideas to life. These printers will help you to make everything from cookie cutters to robots.
Glowforge Laser Cutter/Engraver
Built on laser cutter & engraver technology, Glowforge uses a beam of light the width of a human hair to cut, engrave, and shape designs from a variety of materials. You can design, cut, and engrave on leather, hardwood, plywood, plexiglass, and even felt!
Cricut and Vinyl Cutter
What’s Cricut? From cutting machines to crafting essentials, Cricut products make it easy to create just for fun, for friends & family, or even for a small business. We also have a large format Vinyl Cutter for building large signage.
