Make a Collage to Remember a Special Loved One
At the Memorial Collage Workshop, grievers choose from a variety of animal shaped templates to use as a background for their collage. Then they search through and cut out pictures and words from magazines that they feel best represent their special person or pet. After gluing the pictures and words onto the animal shape, they glue the template to a painted canvas and seal it with clear decoupage. This project is a great way to remember and talk about our loved ones who have died, as each word or picture chosen has a memory attached to it.
This program is geared towards teens & preteens (ages 9-18).
